Thought of the Day:
Sooooo, Do you think Beyonce has had a change of heart? Or a change of her Soul? As in "sold" her soul? What does it mean when she says, its like something comes in & takes over her--this entity named Sasha Fierce. Without a doubt, she has to know all things that are floating around youtube on her & hubbie Jay-Z's dealings with the Illuminati. Well, after being in the gym this morning & catching a glimpse of her new song--Pretty Hurts (was able to see the lyrics because closed captioning was on), as she ends the verse-Yes-I would say to both questions. Perception would have you to believe that thats exactly what's going on. "She's cryin out", from within Sasha, the true self is still there cryin in pain. She realizes that the glitz & glamour, fame is not what the media has it cracked up to be. Only if more of her fans saw thru the veil, (illusion as she herself calls it in the lyrics) the mask that she wears. Then maybe we'll have some hope for our young ladies/girls who watch religiously celebrities like Beyonce, Rihanna, & oh Nicki Minaj--just to name a few--as role models......as her lyrics state o_0--
Perfection is the disease of a nation+Pretty hurts=Shine the light on whatever's worse
AS FOR ME,
I AM...HAPPY WITH MYSELF,
SHINING THE LIGHT ON WHATS WORSE; STAMPING WHAT BEAUTY SHOULD BE
Beyonce "Pretty Hurts" lyrics
Mama said, you're a pretty girl
What's in your head it doesn't matter
Brush your hair, fix your teeth
What you wear is all that matters
Just another stage
Pageant the pain away
This time I'm gonna take the crown
Without falling down, down
Pretty hurts
Shine the light on whatever's worse
Perfection is the disease of a nation
Pretty hurts
Shine the light on whatever's worse
Tryna fix something
But you can't fix what you can't see
It's the soul that needs a surgery
Blonder hair, flat chest
TV says bigger is better
South beach, sugar free
Vogue says thinner is better
Ain’t got no doctor or pill that can take the pain away
The pain's inside
And nobody frees you from your body
It's the soul, its the that needs surgery
It's the soul that needs surgery
Plastic smiles and denial can only take you so far
And you break when the fake facade leaves you in the dark
You left a shattered mirror
And the shards of a beautiful girl
When you're alone all by yourself
And you're lying in your bed
Reflection stares right into you
Are you happy with yourself?
It's just a way to masquerade
The illusion has been shed
Yes
